Chairperson & Designated Liaison: Catherine Nelson

Catherine is our principal officer for our club, providing leadership, strategic direction and management to ensure effective operation. She chairs executive, general and annual general meetings, upholds the club constitution & GAA values and acts as the main representative of the club to the community and higher GAA bodies.

Vice Chairperson - Barry McDonald

Barry acts as the primary deputy to the Chairperson, supporting leadership and stepping in when needed. His key duties include aiding club management, chairing sub-committees as required, ensuring safe facilities, representing the club, fostering community links, and also serving as a developmental role for future leadership.

Secretary: Ian Devlin

Ian is our chief administrator. His duties are many and varied and they demand a high degree of dedication. He has more to do with the practical running of the Club than any other officer. He is a good organiser, is methodical and above all, is Mr. Reliable. His duties dovetail with those of the Chairperson and it is essential that both officers work closely together as a team .

Assistant Secretary: Claire Stewart

Claire provides vital administrative support to the Secretary, acts as a backup during absences, and ensures effective communication within the club or county board. She also helps run our weekly Baby Club along with the Health and Wellbeing Sub-Committee.

Finance Officer: RuairΓ­ McKerr


RuairΓ­ ensures the safe-keeping of the funds of the Club. He is responsible for recording all income and expenditure and for reporting on the financial position of the Club to the Club Executive Committee on an on-going basis.

Coaching Officer: Ryan Stewart

Ryan – as part of an overall Games Development Plan - promotes fair play, builds social cohesion, self-esteem, and enhances health and well-being as well as supporting social and economic objectives. Ryan is committed to creating fun, safe playing environments for all of our players, regardless of age or ability level. To safeguard our players, Ryan ensures that coaches abide by the GAA Code of Conduct, have completed the GAA/ISC Child Protection in Sport Awareness Workshop and are vetted by An Garda SΓ­ochΓ‘na/Access NI.

Children's Officer & Assistant Treasurer: Caoimhe Devlin

Caoimhe is central to maintaining the safeguarding of children and young people in our club and to the implementation of the Code of Behaviour at underage level. In addition to these core responsibilities she also ensures, with the cooperation of other Officers, that legislative requirements governing the participation of children/young people and those who work with them are maintained at all times. She provides support to the club treasurer along with cover during absences.

Development Officer: Mary McMahon

Mary drives the strategic growth, coaching standards, and participation levels of our club. She has lead the production and continued monitoring of our club's Development Plan, identifies areas for improvement, including both physical facilities and people development. She works on improving general organisation & efficiency and ensures we use all available admin resources and education programmes. She will keep us up-to-date with funding opportunities from within the GAA, local authorities and sports councils to secure support for ongoing projects.

SeΓ‘n is responsible for protecting, recording, and promoting the history and cultural heritage of our club and community. He often bridges the gap between local history, the Irish language, the natural environment and community activity.

Communications & Public Relations Office: Shane Corrigan

Shane is responsible for managing our club’s image, communications, and public relations. He promotes club activities, games, fundraisers and news across social media, local media, and websites to engage the community and keep members informed. He will create in-house advertising material and document games & events as they happen to ensure we reach as wide a demographic as possible. The aim is to develop a positive image of the club, help drive recruitment across all age groups, and facilitate the long-term growth of the club.

Registrar - Dearbhla McDonnell

Dearbhla is responsible for making sure that everyone who plays for Sean Treacys has been formally registered with the GAA and is covered by insurance. She is responsible for non-playing registrations as well and makes sure everyone can feel welcomed as an integral part of the club, no matter their role.
