U6.5 Hurling Blitz Report – Naomh Colum Cille

Our U6.5 hurlers travelled to Naomh Colum Cille this evening to take part in an excellent hurling blitz.

Sean Treacy's fielded two teams on the night, with the boys and girl playing a total of six games against hosts Naomh Colum Cille, Éire Óg and Dúiche Neill.

There was a fantastic display of skill, enthusiasm and determination from all our young players. The children showcased just how much they have developed their hurling skills throughout the year, with some excellent striking, both on the ground and in the air. First class teamwork on display across all games, with plenty of goals throughout the evening, spread across all our players. 

A thank you to Naomh Colum Cille for the invitation and for hosting a very enjoyable evening of hurling. A massive thanks as well to Anthony Carville, Barry Devine, and all the coaches for arranging our participation this evening and for their time each week training our boys and girls.

Training resumes next Friday at 6.30pm in Tannaghmore Gardens.

New players are always welcome to join. Full equipment is provided, so come along and give hurling a try!
