No proper write-up from today's match, but just a quick note to say well done to everyone who made the trip to Lisbellaw. With an injury hit squad, we put up an excellent fight, but ultimately came up just short. With a bit more time, it might have been a different story, we were knocking on the door by the end, but it wasn't enough. I couldn't keep track of the individual stats, but well done to Cian who deputised brilliantly in nets, Decky for his continued accuracy from frees and to Barry McDonald for his cameo in the forward line! He contributed his fair share of scores and there was no sign of a nosebleed at the final whistle... We go again on Tuesday night in the McCormack Cup at home to Keady.
