Our senior team made great use of a bye week in the Ulster Hurling League by playing a friendly in Middletown last night. It was a chance for Mark Magee to test the full ability of the squad at his disposal. Everyone got a bit more game time under their belts against a very strong Middletown team. With plenty of positives to take and a few seasonal debuts handed out there is plenty to think over ahead of the McCormack Cup starting up next Tuesday against St Malachy's. Thanks to Middletown for the game, and good luck for the season ahead.
